Civil Team

P.E. – 6642 | P.L.S – 6642 | W.R.S. – 717
Mike Smith, PE, PLS, WRS has been an Engineer and Surveyor in NV and CA since before you were born. He graciously joined the Robison team in 2021 to do a bit of mentoring, and quickly found himself back in the project fast lane, in growing responsible charge and surrounded by independent young professionals thirsty for knowledge. “Once in a Lifetime” by the Talking Heads is on a constant loop in his pickup truck.

P.E. – 16055 | W.R.S. – 1213, Principal Engineer, Treasurer
Nathan (NV PE-16055 and licensed all over the place, including Alberta, Canada) is also our Water Rights leader (WRS-1213). His motto is “never complain and never explain” and his ethic of fairness is draconian. He would prefer to be climbing a mountain alone right now.

Project Professional
Brandon is a Civil Engineering Graduate from UNR with 10+ Years Experience in Engineering and Surveying. He has a plethora of projects under his belt; ranging from the Large Multi-family projects, to the small one of a kind Mom & Pop special builds. He has the “Yes I can” attitude and will turn down no project. When he is not focused on his clients and projects, he is a father of two girls and can be often found blazing through the desert racing on his dirt bikes or wrenching in the garage.

Project Professional
Originally from the California Bay area, Victoria earned a bachelor’s degree in geological engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno, and ended up liking Nevada so much she decided to stay! Most of her time is spent devoted to her work and progressing in her career as an engineer. When she’s not busy with work, she enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, and hiking.

Staff Professional
Luke is a UNR graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. He is enthusiastic to start dedicating his time and energy towards the infrastructure of Nevada and surrounding states. When he’s not drafting with CAD, thinking about CAD, or dreaming about CAD, he can be found on the tennis court or in some garage making music..

Staff Professional
Sagen is a Geological Engineering graduate from UNR. So far he is experienced in materials testing, preventive maintenance plans, and civil design. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and playing music with friends.

Project Professional
Juliette is a UNR graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, who somehow found her way into a civil engineering firm! She fills her time at Robison in diverse ways including working on CAD drawings, P&ID’s, surveying, and even mining hazard control. Outside of work you’ll find her renovating her van, climbing, skiing, biking, paddle boarding, or doing something outdoorsy in a no cell service zone.

Senior Planner
Eric, a Reno native, is a “recovering attorney” who likes to help with planning and management of all types of projects. When he is not working on a Tahoe-Pyramid Trail matter or pitching in to plan or figure out some other issue for one of our clients, he probably is out running on a trail in his Reno-Tahoe backyard or checking out a new brewery or distillery in downtown Reno where he lives.
