Water Rights Team

P.E. – 6642 | P.L.S – 6642 | W.R.S. – 717
Mike Smith, PE, PLS, WRS has been an Engineer and Surveyor in NV and CA since before you were born. He graciously joined the Robison team in 2021 to do a bit of mentoring, and quickly found himself back in the project fast lane, in growing responsible charge and surrounded by independent young professionals thirsty for knowledge. “Once in a Lifetime” by the Talking Heads is on a constant loop in his pickup truck.

P.E. – 16055 | W.R.S. – 1213, Principal Engineer, Treasurer
Nathan (NV PE-16055 and licensed all over the place, including Alberta, Canada) is also our Water Rights leader (WRS-1213). His motto is “never complain and never explain” and his ethic of fairness is draconian. He would prefer to be climbing a mountain alone right now.

P.E. – 18808 | Certified Water System Operator D4, T3 – OP15359, Principal Operator, Senior Engineer
Tom is a Carson City native who  graduated from Humboldt State University with a degree in Environmental Resources Engineering and spent 20 years in the public sector focusing on public water systems, capital projects and project permitting.  He managed projects ranging from single fire hydrants to multi-million dollar transmission mains and complete streets projects.  He has extensive experience in water system hydraulics, network analysis and water system operations, maintenance and repair-including wells.  When he’s not working on water projects he can usually be found in his garage fixing something or simply gazing at a night sky.
